Thank you to Shannon Walsh, Chris Williamson and the National Airline History Museum.
This is the DIY Triple Screen Flight Simulator.
We can show you how to build one of these home flight simulators. You can download the Do-It-Yourself video and instruction manual from the DIY Flight Sims website.
The frame is built from PVC pipe, styrofoam insulation and some wood boards. Buy the materials from your local home improvement store.
You can get the yoke, rudder pedals and throttle quadrant from a variety of online retailers. We're using the Matrox Triple Head to Go to run the three monitors. The three monitors wrap around your field of view a bit and effectively immerse you in the action. This is a big project, but the cockpit enclosure separates into two parts, so you can still move it through standard doorways.
We show you how to spraypaint the keyboards and modify them with button labels to resemble airliner control panels. The different button templates show you how to make panels for a CRJ700, Boeing 737, or Airbus 321.
Download the DIY videos, instruction manuals and button templates from the DIY Flight Sims website. You don't have to wait for anything to get shipped to you.
I love NAHM. Did some projects for them recently. wasn't this built for The Connie?

@geekthinker Yes. I installed the Lockheed Constellation software, so that is one of the planes people can fly now.
