  • Sorry if it is a stupid question, maybe I overlook something. But in what way is this different from a ude-kimi nage?

  • This is a very difficult technique. I am a beginner but I learn it out of a very simple attack.

  • Tenbin is more effective if the arms are kept low, at belt level, when locking uke's elbow.

  • Great video. The way we perform this technique is turning the underside arm to point the two index fingers together. It creates a twisting tightness.
