Better to see it than watch it on video! Really an unbelievable island. I do live here, so I know what I'm talking about..Great idea to put Madeira Island on You Tube like this. I loved it.

Watching is just a tiny part of what you'll get on the site.
Madeira is undoubtly a wonderful place to live. Lucky madeirenses of what they have, continental portuguese should be more aware of portuguese beauties instead of stupid political warfaresn with a serious politian that has made a lot for his region.

Madeira has seen an expansion of air traffic and cruise ship visits. I've often been sat having a drink on the sea front and got chatting to some Brits who are on a cruise calling at Madeira usualy for around 8 hours, one couple told me they were on a cruise that had been around the Caribbean and Madeira was the last stop before Southhampton. They said Madeira was the best place because it was civilised, clean, safe and nobody pestered them to part with their money at every moment. 10/10 Madeira

Well done Mr Hall, great video of a beautiful island. After having watched this on youtube, i made my mind up to go to Madeira and have been several times now. I love Madeira the scenery is truly breathtaking, the people are hospitable and friendly. The last take on the programme of Mr Hall overlooking a building site is now the site of two luxury 5 star hotels. Madeira has seen an expansion of hotels and an increase in the volume of air traffic and cruise ship visits.

On our trip down on the tabogon our Driver lost his hat. At full speed they stopped the tabogan to retrieve his hat. Amazing.

good 2 part video but they don't even cover half of the things to see or do. visit it in the 1rst week of august and the city of Machico is a party place for 7 days and through august there are traditional parties over and over through the region. or go slightly earlier if you into flowers because if that's your thing you will visit Madeira every year for the flower festival. one last thing everyone should see once in their life and that is the end of year fireworks at Funchal unbelievable.

Hmm, agreed, they were uploaded as 4:3 in the YouTube early days and looked fine, but they seem to be have been stretched following the youtube updates. I have just looked for an option in edit video to change the aspect and sadly it doesn't exist! On the plus side, I quite like looking tall and thin!!! The next batch coming soon will be correct!
