On Hannity and Colmes Mike Huckabee while commenting on Saxby Chambliss' win in GA saying that the GOP needs to move away from the squishy middle and become more conservative. Yeah that will bring back those red states that just turned blue Mike.

  • Republicans have to quit giving blowjobs to the religious nuts if they want to recover.

You won't get Mike the theocrat to go along with that one!

  • I like Mike. I really do. But he's batshit insane. The so-called Saxby mandate was a clear loss for Republicans. Yes, Saxby won, but barely. Since incumbent senators have an automatic 80% re-election rate, and since Georgia is one of the reddest states, the fact that Saxby barely squeaked the first election should be a wake-up call that we're getting a little tired of this rightist bullshit. And frankly, Republicans have to quit giving blowjobs to the religious nuts if they want to recover.

  • saxby chambliss won by about 20%.. actually i think it was 15%

  • To stats, at least 16% is atheist/agnostic, but that still leaves a few percentages for bhudists, muslim, jews, and other minor religions.

Even if the US is 80% christian, different christians dont always work together well.

Many faiths think the other ones are going to hell, some are pro-choice or at least pro-homosexual-marraige.

    Mormons, Jehovas witness, etc...

All these different faiths have freedom over here because its a secular country.

  • USA is not 86% christian, and that wouldnt make it a christian nation anyway.

The founding fathers made it secular, and there is no doubting that. The deists put a generic use of god in the declaration of independence which has no connection to the constitution and can represent the greek gods, and one other place I forget but where it was used to say no god shall the candidate need to beleive in to be elected.

  • war has always been a conservative mantra, that is, freedom/peace through conflict.

That requires never balancing the budget and large spending because war is more expensive then all social programs combined by far.

If you look at the history of the CIA, a gov has never cared about evidence, left or right.

repubs are pro business, why wouldnt they be pro-bailout. They only are hesitant on the auto companies because of the unions.

  • the problem is his faith gets in the way of politics.

I want an atheist president that wont turn down a bill for religious reasons. Thats open to facts/science, a multitude of independent thoughts that may conflict with his ideas.

I think Obama was from a liberal enough church that he wont be guided by faith too much, but with him pandering to the right during the inauguration like this, and bashing the left at the same time, its hard to trust him.

  • who are you replying to and who won by 20%?

Because in the pres election Obama won by only 7% in popular vote, though yes, the electorate was a landslide

With all the ups/downs in polls obama had to fight tooth and nail to get that much of the popular vote. Elect votes arent the best indicator of public opinion because in many states even if the pop vote is won by 1& and the elct is divided by 1 more for one candidate then the other, the pop vote splits properly but elect vote goes all to one

  • that's the problem people like you have drahthaar, i saw the whole thing. then watched the liar reinterpret it cause it wouldn't play on a national level.

i'm not a stupid southern"christian" who believes your bullshit & you sir are a bullshitter, probably a "christian" bullsitter too!

go push your lies on those ignorant idiots who live in the south & want this to be a christian nation. quite frankly i'm, as you see in comments here, tired of "christian" liars the likes of you!

  • Again, you just saw the 5-second soundbite. You can view the whole speech and it's quite obvious he's only talking about abortion there.

  • let's see how smart you really are nrobyar, if 87% of the us is christian, does that make this a christian nation?

  • i stopped listening to that bastard when he said he wanted to change the constitution to better align with his religion, then when questioned on a national level, he said he was misquoted, even though video of what he said showed him to be a LIAR.

after that i stopped listening to that fucking "christian" bigot. his religion will never be my government! i'll go to my death making sure of that.

fuckabee & "faith based" (what a fucking laugh they are) politicians are dangerous for this country.
