In a bid to counter the negative impacts resulting from the so-called "heat island" phenomenon, Ikeuchi is pursuing the development of cleaning systems that employ a natural process to convert mist into water vapor without producing any CO2.

Ikeuchi has developed a cooling mist system that features a nozzle capable of producing a semi-dry fog of extremely fine water vapor particles measuring between just 20 to 30 microns in diameter.

During the process of creating this micron mist, heat is absorbed from the surrounding area to demonstrate a cooling effect. The nozzle made of high-purity aluminum ceramics exhibits superior abrasion resistance.

The semi-fog mist system can also be set up at other potential outdoors such as park benches, outdoor restaurants, and train station platforms.

Ikeuchi has developed a new lineup of household cooling products dubbed the CoolJETTER series. CoolJETTERs are integrated mist nozzle fans capable of cooling a 20-meter area.
