just because it has the name honda doesn't mean it's all from japan. In fact many R&D teams who help design their bikes come from all over the country. The Honda fury was actually designed entirely by an R&D team here in north america. Why do they do it? Because it's a JOB. they get payed to. as well as most cruisers

not all honda bikes are produced in japan. The CBR600 and CBR1000 as well as VFR are produce in one of their original plants in japan. The CBR250 and some scooters are produced in thailand. Most cars made by honda including the civic and accord for the States are made in their marrysville ohio and greensburgh indiana plants.there is also a honda plant in canada. Welcome to the global economy.

honda is still the largest motorcycle maker globally. Their sales figures still dwarf harley davidson. 15.6 million units is still ASTRONOMICAL. compared to how many bikes harley makes. But then you also have to figure how complex Hondas supply and production network is. They have plants all over the world and Millions of different suppliers and many different models being produced for different markets globally.

Wow you showed a 5% drop. Did you just learn economics yesterday? Sales figures fluctuate UP AND DOWN. Same applies for harley davidson. Registered HOG had -0.11‎ (-0.20%‎) today at the NYSE. Why is this? Well because of many different reasons. Gas has also risen which also effects the entire market ecosystem.

Nobody magically farts innovation out of their ass like you claim. It takes many years to refine an original idea. and to see things that you haven't looked into before and review other designs that have worked or have not worked. So to completely bash imports is pure arrogance and shows how little you actually know about motorcycles in general. Honda, suzuki, yamaha, and ducati. have had some very rare bikes made in the past that are VERY Expensive and some difficult to own.

I don't care what you claim. Everyone copies from eachother. Honda did copy alot of designs in their infancy. That's how you gain a learning curve then progress towards designing something new, They made alot of their own machines that milled their own parts which gave them more controll over the quality of the components being put in their machines. Before john britten made his bike he looked at many other bike from different makes and thought of ways to improve.
