This is a leatherback turtle nesting in Grand Riviere Trinidad. She has already laid her eggs and is returning to the ocean. This was likely the first of 8-10 trips during the March to September season.
A lot of wasting time, and tax payer money studying the turtle.They do these study to keep them employed,if they had any brain in their stupid head why not save all the tiny little turtle,and then release them when the big enough to defend for themself.They even admit it that only one survived out of a thousand.
