@89forks you can't take money with you when you die but you can take your integrity.
Look if you don't want to risk getting fucked over, then steal, but if you take that option YOU SHOULD give them half if they split. Because fucking somebody else over is a real shitty thing to do. It makes you as bad as the fucker who steals from you.

@InnocenceExperience I would never give the other person the chance to fuck me over, I don't care if that is selfish. If they are a nice person and I like them I would consider splitting the money after the show, but I would never take the chance. If you pick split you run the risk of getting fucked over, and then what good is a moral victory to you?

@cailean18 @89forks actually what I'd probably really do is split if I thought they were going to split and steal if I thought they were going to steal. If I stole and they split, I'd then give them half the money.

@89forks if you pick split and a) the other person picks steal, you don't get any money but you wouldn't have got any if you picked steal anyway. On the other hand, if b) they pick split, they deserve half the money, and you don't fuck them over. Sure picking steal is the best selfish option and picking split runs the risk of getting fucked over, but at least you chose to do the right thing, which matters in life, and you don't look like a greedy, lying asshole on tv.

@cailean18 obviously steal is the best selfish option. But another way to look at it is you can only get any if the other person splits so you should work together to give each other half the money. You might even *feel* that if they split, they deserve half the money. Its actually better than lying to somebody then fucking them over. You risk them stealing but if they stole and you stole, you wouldn't have got any anyway.
