but i think, after seeing how insane claire went after aaron left, that kate was probably a better mother for him.. up till then i was rooting for claire, because of all the happy moments they'd had in the first 3 seasons, but then the whole strangling kate thing sorta changed my mind about her..

still, i didnt like kate's character very much she wasn't a very good decision maker most of the time.. haha, to put it nicely ;)

my favorite character was charlie, but he died too early :'(

Even though Aaron wasn't Kate's biological son, she was a great mother to him! I think he truly loved her (in the series, of course) and I loved seeing Kate mature a little from being so back and forth with Jack and Sawyer, and found a little man she could always love and depend on. :)

people hated her when she kidnapped the boy for 3 years, dumped him with his grandmother and went back home and fucked jack the same night.

i feel sorry for the the actors coz they had a sick script to work with
