My 25 pounder is almost exactly the same size...

dont eat shovelheads, they taste like shit, eat channel cats, and if you catch a big blue, dont eat it, let them live because they are fun as hell to catch.
-
thats what us wv boys do
i caught a 15.93 pound channel cat
-
good fish caseyhaun is just mad that he cant catch them like you and i can im 12 and my biggest shovelhead is 21 LBS not bad for my first year of catfishin. Beacause he is to poor to buy food so he takes 1/2 the population home to eat it!!

That fish was no more than 45lbs I have caught many of them, and second I fish to eat them that is the reason to fish, there are thousands of fish like that in the water there is no need to throw them back. So does this mean we should all also hunt deer with tranquilizers so the big monster bucks can live after we have a picture with it?

I used to not release my fish. Ide take them home and make trophies but then when I was fishing with an old buddy of mine and I reeled in a 63 lb 8 ounce cat. I told him how great he would look in my room and then got mad and said a fish like this deserved to live. So to not make any hard feelings I put him back. Well after that I actually felt better about the catch and now I always release my catches and I feel a lot better about fishing and kinda weird but fishing got a lot better ever since.
