Extraordinary how he performs with supreme clarity, and with his golden-tone even at his tempo :-)) Gilels performs in the tradition of Rachmaninoff - as Rach said "Gilels is the pianist worthy to be called his successor in pianism" :-))

I`m russian, so I like it fast. Tempo in the scores is presto. :)

Typical for the 'old Russian School': very fast.
But, as it is the great Gilels, it sounds wonderfully!
