In late July, 2008 Wildland Tours chartered the expedition ship Wanderbird for the first of two polar bear watching expeditions to northern Labrador's Torngat National Park. These are photos by Company President David Snow from this coastal voyage. The expedition started in Nain (the largest and most northerly town on the north coast of the Inuit territory of Nunatsiavut) and continued north to Canada's newest national park in northern Labrador. The music accompanying these images is from Newfoundland's Figgy Duff and is used courtesy of Pam Morgan and Amber Music. Most Wildland Tours trips are less remote and use excellent local hotels but there is always the same sense of exploration and gentle adventure as people travel Newfoundland and Labrador.

Wildland Tours travels to southern Labrador with The Viking Trail Experience and The Southern Labrador Adventure which has been documenting orcas or killer whales along the Labrador Coast. The Wildland Tours website has photos and descriptions of these popular Labrador adventures.
