So you believe that your morality is derived externally. If that works for you, then more power to you.
For me though, I feel that it is derived internally. I behave as a good person for the sole desire to do good. I need no external causation or motivation.

If we are on our own and we continue to sin, our conscience mind goes quiet on us.
The Spirit of God, inside of us, will operate the mind,the heart and He will tell you right from wrong on a wider scale than us.
So that we can resist temptations, stop sinning and walk into obedience to Christ,into holiness.
