With all the LSA competition right now, I am hoping to see the 100K price tags come down. Seems like anything with a Rotax 912 and glass panel is over 100k. It doesn't have some of options of other LSA's such as BRS, EFIS, etc. I think the Flight Design CT is more bang for your buck.
Ouch! I don't see how $85,000 to $100,000 and Light Sport Aircraft can be used in the same sentence. How much of that goes for liability insurance to manufacture a "homebuilt" airplane?
I am building a Kitfox 7 SS, basically the same as in this video. Its an incredibly well performing airplane. The Kitfox just beats the pants off anything in its class !!!
sells for $83,495 for base model with a Rotax 912 S 100hp. engine with basic instruments. If you want to upgrade the panel to a "glass" panel and the best radios (Garmin SL-40 and Garmin Transponder ect you can expect just under $100,000.00 ready to fly. Great flying aircraft and the most performance for the money hands down against other S-LSA aircrafts costing lots more than $100,000. It should do well in that market for those who don't have time to build but love the Kitfox performance.

Kitfox -- great planes.new or Used.
Used Kitfox sell for 25 to 50% or cost to build .
That tells me that they are too cheap and will increase in value . Great Investment.
I have over 80 Kitfox videos or real flying and no commercial intent but to show the truth about how they fly.
