Messier should be on this. 6 Stanley Cups and he played a huge role in each one. Including 3 Canada Cups. 2nd all time in career points (Gretzky 1st) and 2nd all time in playoff points. The only player to captain two teams to a Stanley Cup (Oilers and Rangers). And yeah, I like Sid but it's too soon to put him in that company. An Olympic gold medal will help!

No I'm not retarded but I used to be when I was your age. Watching Crosby crying as Perry took the top honours in Junior at the Memorial Cup and Perry winning a Stanley Cup first made all those cardboard Crosbys in sports stores look rather stupid. I notice our local store has a poster of Getz now.
