Ossian - The Corncrake (Song), I Hae A Wife O Ma Ain (Jig)

This is the opening track from Ossian's self-titled debut album. I absolutely love this song! Since I can't film an actual corncrake where I am, I had to settle for a happy little duck I found while having a picnic on the eastern shore of Lacamas Lake, north of Camas, Washington.

Note: I by chance heard this song on the radio of all things back in the 1990's and finally found the excellent Scottish group responsible for such extraordinary music a couple of years ago. I think it was the public radio station that was playing during a video project Galen and I were working on at the time, so the song was recorded and used as part of the soundtrack. I was able to write down the lyrics and do an internet search to find the group when I was preparing that video a while back.
