The Hasapiko or Kasapiko dance among Greeks is most associated with Constantinople (or "Polis", hence Politiko)/Istanbul, especially the old suburb of Tatavla, famous for its carnival celebrations. A vaiety of Haspika Politika (of the "polis")

  • Get over your selfs and your egos and be human! Many many countries/people have done wrong to others . Including the Turks to the Greeks and vice-versa. The problem is we all think we are better than our neighbors- the ill driving force is greed and ignorance-we will never be satisfied! We must go to the next level of existence and think and feel beyond earthly egos and self-centeredness.

  • there is a fact that can not be ignored and it is that greeks and turks have shared so much in common throughout the history, folkdances, taste, culture and everything and so on, the truth is that we have to come to realize that we are both neighbours now and that a turkish civilian has nothing to do with what happened in the past and the greek person as well. we just have to learn to be friendly to each other, as well as politicians! i really appreciate greek culture btw, love from turkey!

  • Romeikos the titles of your videos are very misleading sometimes. There are Turkish songs Greek songs and Greco-Turkish common songs. Its not like every single songs that dates back to that times is a common song.

The specific ones are Greek songs.

Be more specific please, im an amateur researcher and your videos have been very helpfull.Priceless i would say.

Just be more specific with the titles.

Apart from that thanks very much and keep up the good job!

  • whole lot of respect from istanbul, i am %100 percent turkish, if i would be in a country where i'm alone and i had one chance to pick someone from another country, i would never think for a second and choose a greek. fuck all the haters, greeks and turks aren't friends because we are brothers. fuck all the nationalist bastards. we are so much closer to greece than azerbaijan.

  • GREAT VİDEO RESPECT FROM İSTANBUL
