It is no secret that the Brett Craig Football League has been hanging on by a thread for quite some time now. Analyists proclaim that the BCFL is no longer stable enough to compete with the ever-popular NFL. Ratings have been steadily declining for months, and while sell-out games were once commonplace, they are now going extinct. In a hail-mary attempt to save the failing Brett Craig Football League, Commissioner Brett Craig planned the first ever "Legacy Game."

Part of the reason for the decline of the BCFL is the loss of two of its star players, Andy Craig and Tim Ouweleen. While questions still surround the reasoning behind their unexpected exit from the league, Commissioner Brett realized that they were the key. Brett lured them from their vacation homes for a chance to relive the glory that is the BCFL. He proposed a single game, featuring the all-time greats, to remind the fans of what they have been missing and what the BCFL hopes to offer for many years to come.

It was an overwhelming success.

The game was a classic, incorporating all of the elements that have been missing from the BCFL all year long. It was a dispay of amazing athletic ability, determination to win, and the heart to fight for every yard. If that is not enough, the BCE, longtime rivals with the Andy Boys, pulled out the upset in dramatic fashion. After falling behind to an early 3-1 deficit, you could smell the blowout in the air. But nearing halftime, quarterback/coach Brett Craig gave his team some inspiring, motivational words. The team kept their composure and came away with a victory.

The implications of this game are monumental. Andy is here to stay, but the league does not have the same faith in Tim. Tim is expected to return to his luxury cabin in the mountains of Utah in a few weeks, putting the future of the BCFL in question. However, the great success of this game gives us all hope that the BCFL will live to see another day.

It was over when...
A questionable coaching decision was made to replace 3-time MVP quarterback Brandon Bishop with former Worst Player in the League, Andy Craig. The decision was made as an attempt to jumpstart the offense, but ultimately backfired as Andy threw a game-ending interception that was returned for a touchdown. It was a fitting end to an overall slop-fest; there were 6 turnovers between the two teams.

The game ball goes to...
Jeff. Jeff had a roller coaster ride of a game on the offensive side of the ball; he attempted to break the record for drops in a game (13). However, he converted a 4th and 10 which led to the go ahead touchdown. In addition, he continues his dominance at the cornerback position with a 4 interception, 2 def. TD game. He is a riverboat gambler, and he always seems to hit the jackpot.
