Add &fmt=18 to the end of the webaddress for Hi-Def. The cool thing about this build is that it has a 5-way Strat switching system. I'm using the 2nd (neck/middle) position here for a dry percussive banjo type sound, which I thought was appropriate for the song. Neck and body are USA Custom Guitars, pickups are noiseless Dimarzio Area 58 neck, 61 middle, 67 bridge. Custom 5-way switch by Rick Kelly of Carmine Street Guitars. Lake Placid Blue, mint guard, rest of the plastics are white. Labella strings roundwound tuned to A. Recorded with a Studio Projects C1 Large Diaphragm Mic into an Apogee Duet to the Macbook and Garageband with a bit of reverb. Bass VI is going straight into a Matchless Chieftain 1X12 amp with a bit of reverb.

  • Love the big beefy tone of that Chieftain? Do you still have it? Did you ever do a good vid of just the Chieftain?

  • @dparel sure, check out a demo i did called "3 Amps, 3 Guitars."

  • it is all wrong lern it the proper way

  • @augusrockhouse23 since it's being played on a Bass VI, technically it's not right to begin with anyhow!

  • Woot I love the fender bass vi. my favourite insrument.

  • @augusrockhouse23 the fender Bass 6 is legitimately a baritone guitar, since the scale is so much shorter than a standard bass and it doesn't use bass pickups

  • you can get a bass 6 neck from warmoth and put it on a regular guitar but you'll have to make the neck pocket a little bigger to accomodate it

  • not a baritone its literally a "bass guitar"

  • @AHintOfReality E A D G B E on the Bass VI 30" scale length, 026w 035w 044w 056w 075w 095w so it's like a shortscale bass, think Mustang Bass or Guild Starfire Bass, Gibson EB series and so on.

  • nice

  • I wish fender keep this one. I would love to buy one if I learn to play bass.
