just think about this for a second, he is a cyborg who is excellent in close combat, has a ton of gadgets and has the potential for an AWESOME fatality using his hidden blades! Thumbs up if you agree!

Skyrim was hyped? How? And if it was, that would be to its detriment, because games that get highly hyped are more prone to dissapoint and anger the "fans." Skyrim won because it had a lot more content. I'm not saying its a better game necessarily, but you can get 100 hours out of a single playthrough of Skyrim, so it shouldn't surprise anyone that Deus Ex had better story and gameplay. Its like comparing a gourmet APPETIZER with a full MEAL at a diner. Which is better? Idk.

@MrZenneth12 oblivion sucked. I played the first 2 hours and couldnt bare myself playing the whole game. Never played morrowind and not planning to.

@Ozku9 i love deus ex: HR but for me it was too linear. Of course there are always like 2 or 3 sidequest in new maps but for me if it was gonna be game of the year they could had more sidequest. I played both but skyrims content is something that we have never seen before.

Might I say you're comment was one of the most refreshing I've seen involving Skyrim xD It sucked up my sister's attention so I bought this game not too long ago, I think it is SO much better than Skyrim/Bathesda games in general- Which as you put it are decent and good lol which I agree with- but Human Revolution simply had a more engaging story and gameplay, not to mention the voice acting is so much better xD

This should have been Game of the year but peoples were blind because Skyrim was too much hyped and it was made by bethesda which was known for decent and good games.

Human revolution had better story, gameplay, charters and graphics but yet Skyrim took it because peoples were blinded by Skyrim's lenght and arrow in the knee joke.

It's sad that nowadays game doesn't mean anything on videogame business, only name.
