Hypertech tuned Duramax Diesel Smokes the Tires

2007.5 Chevrolet Duramax (LMM) smokes the tires in Hypertech's parking lot and leaves two nice black strips. There was no power braking, just full throttle from idle.

The truck is programmed with Hypertech Stage 3 tuning and has an extra 91 HP & 164 TQ over stock...

If you think that Duramax has power with that dinosaur tuner (hypertech) you would crap your pants if you bought efi live, or even a ppe. Either way sharp truck.

Same truck went 14.2 in the 1/4 mile and can still tow up to the manufacturers suggested limit. I don't think that would be possible with a PPE tune.
