Hey Michael Thanks for telling me about this video. Two questions. First how deep was it and were you using discrimination mode?
Also when people wonder why more of these are not found, think about it, a coin that large is easier to see when you lose it. I can imagine the person running to the house during the rain and reaching for their keys and the coin drops out. The rain and mud mix and the coin disappears.

@Jockguy2008 the morgan silver dollar was 4 to 5 inches deep in south carolina sandy soil. yes i was using discrimination, with disc level at 7 sens 90. with the fisher f70

@chinchillaman1 thats not what it is, i forgot, been so long, 1 year 6 months ago, it goes to an antenna or something has several open holes for plugs or wires to go in it, my grandpa knew what it was when i found it, i will ask him

@nuggetnoggin it looks similiar, keep an eye out for those balances, they are usually that size and made out of brass or copper, after tumbling they look pretty cool
