Boat burns because of gasline leak....

This was a boat my dad owned I had rode in it before. My dad sold it to a guy that worked for him. I bought the boat from that guy after he had it about 2yrs, at a good price fixed it up and did a overall tune up on it, but I never thought to change the fuel lines! (engine blowers were on) The boat was really cheri for a 1967. This was the first outing. Thank God nobody was hurt... I was on the boat when it caught fire,(click, whoosh was what I heard) the news didnt get it right. my brother was on the ramp about 150ft away when it went up, he said I was out of the boat before the fire ball hit the winshield! I smelled gas and was reaching for the key to shut it off but it was to late........

sometimes i wish the news people didn't have to make everything oh-so big and special on the news, because most of the time they get it wrong, and all it does is draw a crowd. glad nobody was hurt =/
