Hiba's letter to all of you:
BismAllah:
Not all flowers are same, nor are the colours, or the fragrant that is spread around in the air. Yet it is named differently, according to colour, smell, appearance etc so the flower is categorised however it is still named as a flower. Like that all fruits come in different shapes/sizes, colour, smooth/rough, flavour, taste, names and etc. They all are categorised but an apple is fruit and banana is a fruit so they are just fruit.
We all know and agree with these facts and therefore they are still named according to their species. We don't talk about these things in a normal conversation because we know them and we know it would be no use because it wouldn't be a very long discussion as everyone would know. However to us Muslims we know a great deal that the Muslims don't categorise themselves instead we say Muslim Ummah we are whole, no race, no colour, tall/ short, fat etc can separate us.
Even though keeping in mind we all know what the meaning is and what it consist of. There are many topics many discussions all over the world and over and over again people reminding us about this. When everyone knows, but then why is it so hard for us to remember about being called the Ummah, and arguments rise with one another in a disagreement when all this isn't necessary, yet you find it very easy to remember the facts about the flower and not say anything yet agree with everyone else.
Why I forgave those people? Because the saying is, "The sunnah is like the Ark of Noah. Whoever embarks upon it reaches salvation and whoever refuses is drowned." So when I forgave them, why did people disagree with this fact, why do we multiply and start to divide ourselves in small groups? Remember one thing, who are you to judge the life of others, I know no one is perfect and no one tries to be pretend to be, but before you start to point fingers, make sure your hands are clean...
..but remember that Allah himself is the best of best judges, for that is why we have the day of judgment (Resurrection Day), it is not your duty to punish others or your responsibility when you know Allah is there.
Reasons to why I forgave them! Well a lot of people still don't like the fact what has been done and they totally disagree and they rather see that person behind bars for life! But here is what I think:
Well Allah has 99 names which best describe him, and we all know them, well many of us know the basic ones. Today I just have realised we were given the gift of our sight but truly when we read about Allah we are truly blind! Another gift we were given was to hear, but now I feel we are deaf as well because we cant hear what Allah told us. Another gift we were given too was, taste but now all we taste is the bitterness of someone else's sin.
Another gift we were given to touch, instead we touch upon things that makes us astray from Islam. We were given the last gift feeling, now we don't feel anything because our hearts are stones, so we don't know the meaning to forgive and feel the nourishment that supplies to being a good Muslim. But instead people say I'm not a good Muslim I need time, but my question is who said you were good? You don't have the ticket to go to hell or heaven.
How can you say you're not good! We all know this life is a test but who said the test was over, the test is still going on! No1 is saying anything about any1 being the best Muslim in the world because we don't know that only Allah knows, all that is secret will be revealed on the Day of Judgment.
To be a good Muslim you don't say I'm not, so I can't do that! instead you say I'm a practicing Muslim and I will implement as much as I can to be a good Muslim that I may pass the test of life. It takes years to build on to be a good person and a good Muslim but it takes a few seconds to break that all.
If Allah can be merciful, compassionate, all-forgiving, the greatest, the high... then why can't I try to implement some of these meanings to my life and be a better person. If Allah can forgive someone even after them committing so many mistakes and sins in this life why can't I do the same and forgive someone. Isn't it a great deal of shame having a lord with all these beautiful names and a slave who isn't ready to forgive even knowing how great the lord is and the reward for that?
A person may commit as much as sins as he likes he can go to the extent and kill many people, but however there are repentance in this world that those of whom made such crimes repent to Allah and him alone accept this from them and guide them again. In another case he could of just killed them in return because that would be another punishment for them but since he knows everything.
