EXO-FORCE MOBILE NXT ROBOT

1st attemps -Combining Lego ExoForce new green wheels and the NXT - basicly could say the good guy snatch the whell off the Meca 1 and built this zippy do thing ... segway would be nice - got to get rid of its training wheels :(

Neat robot. I built a robot, that is similar to yours, but I was wondering, how did you get it to balance??? I think I saw castor wheels or something like that at the bottom of the robot, but I wasn't sure if they were fixed or could move around. If you could reply, that would be great.

you are right ! i have caster wheel in front and in back -- however this would be a nice project for the gyro sensor or the light sensor technic used in the SEGWAY's but i have not tried that yet -- but this design was built to have both the 2 motors and the NXT fit inside the diameter of the green wheels -- to achieve that you cannot have the motor in direct drive or they will stick out you must use gears in a perpendicular fashion
