1994 A Salute To Michael Jordan Part 7/12

Tasty (but -- as it seemed just four and a half months later - fortunately premature) farewell show -- on November 1st - for MJ in the new Bulls' home: United Centre. Friend and sport anchor Ahmad Rashad invites a whole range of sport personalities among the star-studded crowd to the stage, joining him and Jordan. Dean Smith, Bobby Knight, Spike Lee, Scotty Pippen, Phil Jackson, John Paxson and Jerry Krause contribute 'live' while others (Larry Bird & Magic Johnson) appear on video.

Phil Jackson predicts -- part 6 - MJ's return to basketball and even 'sees' him play 'until he is 40'!

Together with Larry King and Jerry Reinsdorf (who then actually believed in Jordan's career with his White Sox) a stature of Michael is being disclosed in front of United Centre.

Michael Jordan jokingly escapes from Rashad's pleas to come back to the game NOW and delivers a great 'Thank you' speech (part 11) before his 23 number is being 'retired' (also premature ...) and sent to the rafters by MJ and his kids!
