First time out with the my new 795 and love it once i get the scopedialed in it will be perfect.

Why did you keep the scope caps on? Anyway nice gun and nice shooting. Have you had good luck with this gun? What ammunition were you shooting?

@slowride55 These scope caps were open on both ends with yellow lenses to cut down the glare. It was very sunny that day. That day i think i was using the last of my remington 550 brick. They worked well had a couple of misfires but it was the ammo and not the gun.

@DEDMNKY Cool. Yeah my scope has open caps too but its just yellow on the back cover. what ammo do you usually use? just whatevers the best price?

@slowride55 Some 22 rifles will only fire the more expensive rimfire 22s (like the CCI minimags). But i usually get what ever is on sale that day but if your going to get the most accuracy i would use something like the minimags but for just shooting all day i would get two 550 round bricks of federal or remington. That way you are not broke by the time you shoot off a thousand rounds. I do tend to stick with the remington 22lr. My friends 10/22 was damaged by the federal ammo.
