@dthor1000 yes there is :)
-
is there any one out there any more that does an old school taekwondo that's not about touching your opponent with your feet for a point ?
-
@PubliusAfricanus Haha basically...no the problem is when anyone is rounded, they throw perfection into the wind.
Though I would be more effective in a no rules street fight, I would be destroyed by an actual boxer in a boxing match.
Same with a wrestling match or anything else.
I never said he's the greatest, I said he's good, and though he has been beaten before, he hasn't been beaten by YOU.
-
So not only is Lopez the greatest TKD tournament fighter ever, though he's been beaten before, but now he can out-punch a boxer, out-grapple a grappler, and take down armed banditos? What's next, he can catch bullets between his teeth and leap over tall buildings?

@PubliusAfricanus I doubt it....Competition wise yes it's relaxed, actual Taekwondo however not only teaches the art of kicking, but litteraly translates to The Way of The Fist and Foot.
We have alot more hand techiques to our disposal then a boxer, we've been taught to fight multiple people, disarm both knives and guns and other asorted weapons, bring the fight down to the ground if neccesary, then educated in the ways of killing people.
Advantage? TKD...

In a foot-fest or a real fight? Coz Lopez'll probably lose both.

@spinkicker43 hi nathan lol

Which team is which country? They look the same.

Loving the vid 5/5 only thing that is bothering me is the people cheering when they THINK Lopez makes a point, but I guess that's in all TKD matches :) nice vid anyway
look so regular tournament on this Olympics competition. I've been in many good taekwondo tournament but this one SUCK its not a good fight. I agreed with both of you its boring.
