Fitchburg: Dover Impulse Central Man-Powered Elevator @ Courtyard Marriott

This is the Central Dover Impulse cenrtal Man-Powered Elevator, at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel, Fitchburg, Massachusetts.
Unlike the mechanical elevators, the MPE's generally use the "Dover Beep/Chirp", but just like the mechanicals, these are el-cheapo HIGHdraulics.
They aren't in the best of cindition, either, with chunks of concrete in the fixed incremented plains, as well as holes in general. It appears there were actually exposed metal, before the 6'th floor was added on. These are newer than the Four-Points Sheraton down the highway, and are in worse shape.
They could use a little TLC. These can be dangerous, if allowed to deteriorate more.
There was no view from the top floor, as planned, but we stop at the starting point (2), and got the view of the nice Atrium to the indoor water park. The other view was just black (woods).

Never noticed. There is an actual elevator that overlevels, and pre-doors back down.

It's possible.
