Hello!

Welcome to 'Travel with Dj', our very own adventure travel outfit, based out of Shimla, with a small office in Delhi, and running adventure trips in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Ladakh for the summers and Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala and Rajasthan in the winters. Our focus is the outdoors and activities, with an emphasis on local culture, cuisine and history of the places we travel to. We love to travel responsibly interacting with the natives, and looking for avenues where we can contribute towards generating awareness towards environment best practices and also adds to the local economy. You will see, once you travel with us that mostly we prefer home stays and ventures run by natives of the place over big chains and corporate houses. This is our 'mantra' and this is our philosophy -- personalized group and individual travel -- to cut it short -- experiential traveling; from the outside to the inside, exploring ourselves as we step on.

Our activities include Mountain cycling, White water rafting, Camping Trips, Photography, Road Trips, Trekking and Motorcycling trips. We move rather freely -- bespoke sometimes; and are flexible on taking it easy; depending upon how many days and what is the budget of our guests. The services are with a personal touch, notwithstanding whether you like to 'rough it out' or like it cozy, comfortable and cuddly.

Our trips are made and planned to our guest's needs and aspirations -- custom (you decide, you tell us and we plan it for you -- in your budget and time) and fixed departures (our own researched and best trips). There are also weekend departures every two Fridays from Delhi -- towards destinations in Himachal, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan, one night outdoors with an emphasis on photography, activities and yes -- The good times!

The trips are designed for families, friends, corporates or just the two of you wanting a romantic getaway.

Dhananjay is leading the team at 'Travel with Dj', after vagabonding through the country with friends and sometimes alone. He has been at the helm of affairs for setting up India's premier mountain cycling challenge 'The Hercules Mountain Biking Himachal' and has been the Production Head at the 'Mumbai cyclothon 2011'. All this started when he was a junior school student (grade 7) at Shimla, when he got the opportunity to marshal at India's Premier Motorsport event 'The Himalayan rally'. It has been a journey ever since, traveling to high mountains, deserts and hitting out on long roads, learning about the country, it's people and it's places -- learning about motorsport and cycling sport. The passion remains a staple.
