I thought Derek left because Keiran proved he was a fake by leaving something lying around saying there was someone who haunted a location they were investigating called Kreed Kafer who Derek was then 'possessed' by. There was never any such person and Kreed Kafer was an anagram of Derek faker. I think it's on you tube somewhere. I do believe in the paranormal and I believe some mediums are real but I can't believe a word Derek says after Keiran outed him for faking it.
