Jeff played baseball for 15 years and coached it for 3. Hit with the ball many times and it's no big deal. No broken bones during that time. Rarely see anyone get hurt seriously. In football it happens every game to a few players and everyone who is in the game is going to get brused up somewhere lol.

I mean a 8 Oz ball at 100 MPH is nothing compared to a 240 linebacker at 20 MPH hitting you!
