Miserable at Best: A Jonas Brothers Love Story Chapter 31

Joe's POV

"Alright! Now we are going to do something special!" I screamed as Kevin and I ran on stage. Breanna walked off looking down. "We're going to have a drum battle between Nick Jonas and Megan McKay!" Kevin said. "Each of the competitors have learned one of their opponent's songs. The winner is going to perform a song of their choice while the loser plays drums." Everyone cheered as Megs walked out and sat behind her bright pink drum kit. Nick followed and sat behind his silver JB drum kit. "Ladies, first." Nick said into his microphone. "Oh, so you mean you want to go first." Megan said with a smirk and the crowd 'ohh'ed. "Bring it, Blondie." Nick said spitefully. "Oh, you better watch it Jonas." she said glaring at him. "Oh yeah, I'm really afraid of a 5'7, blond Barbie." he said. "That's it, I'm going to wipe the floor with you!" Megan said as she started. 15 seconds or so later, she flipped one of her neon pink drum sticks 3 feet in the air, caught it, and pointed to Nick while still playing with one hand. The crowd cheered. "Is that all you got?" he asked as he started his turn. 30 seconds later he stopped. "See if you can beat that, baby." he said bitterly. "So much for 15 second turns." Megan said sarcastically as she started her turn. It went back and forth like this for about 5 minutes, each one getting better every turn, the trash talk getting worse each turn. (A.N. the song in the video is their drum battle, it goes Megan Nick Megan Nick and so on and there are scream in between so you can tell them apart, and if you watch the video it says which on is which.) "Alright, if you think Nick was the better drummer scream now!" Kevin yelled and the crowd started to scream. I motioned for everyone to stop. "Alright, if you think Megan was the better drummer scream now!" I yelled and the stadium irrupted in screams, I looked over at her and she smirked. "I think we have a winner." Kevin said as Megan stepped out from behind her drum set. "So what song did you pick, Megs?" I asked. "Well, you should know it, you were in the video for it. It's Alright, It's Ok." Megan said and the crowd cheered. "Hit it Nick." Megan said with a smirk she is pure evil! She knew he always goes into his dressing room with his iPOD cranked when she sings It's Alright, It's Ok. He looked miserable as he started playing. The screens all around the arena flickered on and Megan's music video played on them. Nick looked down at his drums when the part where Megan kisses Taylor Laughtner came on. Half way through the song, Megan grabbed her mic out of the stand and walked towards were Nick was sitting. He looked up at her while she sang at him.
