Actually, that's a lie. If you were to look, we spent far more time in recession when we had a Gold Standard.

Ron Paul is a student of austrian economics and if we elect him we might have a chance. i am not a politition i dont fight agaisnt ourselves like congress i only look at truth, and the truth is that if you look at statistics when we were on the Gold standard we were a lot better off, and that is fact not speculation!

@Wolfenman08 yes it will the power of the purse was granted to congress in the constitution but those congress cowards will never live up to there name, evil forces have gained control of the American Government and it is our duty to change and abolish it it is our duty as American Citizens as stated in the constitution not living up to that creed means that you are un American! I garantee you there will be a Revolution in the United Staes in the next 10 years For sure!

Yes, the dollar will probably collapse, but changing to a Gold Standard is not going to help.
