Hoover 3236H 'Matchbox' Automatic De Luxe - into distribution

Later into the cycle and we catch the last few tumbles before the machine goes into distribution.

This is the distribution that I remember on my parents machine - very sudden and within a second everything is plastered to the sides of the drum.
None of your 20minutes of attempting to balance a load, that you get with modern machines.

Accompanying this is the trademark Hoover water cascades down the door and a bit of pump rumble.

p.s the MTH keymatic style timer really comes into play, as the machine goes into distribution. click, click clickety click!

You know after the drain and distribution ,was that the first rinse?

I cant honestly remember. Was possibly the end of or start of first rinse. Cant make out where the white indicator line has got round to.

My mum had this machine before it packed up and she got a Bendix Autowasher Electronic 1000

its amazing just how many were out there. uber rare now - not surprising as the oldest of these machines would date from mid 1970 and would be approaching 40 years old. memories!
