  • The point is that sensors to detect chemical phermones aren't good enough yet, so they used light instead. The interesting part is the behaviour, the light is only a practical stand-in for chemical pheremones.

  • Oh i can totally see hotwheels simulating hive insects could have practical applications, not.

Show me a robot that can walk and that cool, show me a robot that can think and that's cool, but a robot that smells optically is very trivial in my perspective.

  • wow that's the best foraging I've ever seen! wtf!

  • you obviously dont know what this is if you think its boring... this kind of new tech is whats going to be around in numerous harvesting applications in the future.

  • BORRRRRRRRING.

  • cool lights!

  • ok...lemme try to explain (at least i think this is what happened) at about 1:03 and 1:04 you can see a guys arm reach out for one of these robots. give me the impression that they did this in room and turned off the lights, showing the 'pheremone' and allows the robots to collect food.

  • This looks fake, if I am wrong please comment me with viable proof.

  • What the hell was that?

  • I'm confused lol
