Amazing to see this on YouTube. I heard Jack do this, must have been about 1966, around 2am in the morning, live on radio free NY. He was obviously drunk or hi or something. Mississippi John Hurt had just died and he did a tribute to him. I haven't gotten it out of my mind since. Saw Jack several times at the Gaslight Cafe in the Village. Loved him ever since.
