In the American's own words: the Shenyang J-8IIM is superior to the F-18, F-16, and Mirage.
In an expert's (who has worked on the JF-17) own words: the JF-17 is on the same level as the F-16 Block 52. Lockheed Martin was shocked when it discovered how advanced the JF-17 was.
