Don't look the other way

The social etiquette of not interfering in other people's business as well as a stereotype of what abuse looks like and what kinds of families/neighbourhoods it can happen in is responsible for so many abused children not getting the help they need. Please put down your pre-conceived ideas, take time to listen and observe and risk getting involved if it seems like a child isn't ok...If you see or hear something that doesn't seem right you're already involved so don't be yet another person who looks the other way!

great video; and so true unfortunately; many people knew when i was a kid that i had been abused and there was no way that it could have not been noticed. I would have no trouble in reporting child abuse or animal abuse or abuse of anyone or anything. looking back i wish someone had done something, but you can't change whats happened in the past; but never should anyone feel like i did. noone.

it's so very important to talk about these terrible things that happens all around the planet to so many children.

Everybody can help: whenever you see a mom or dad who hit a kid - go to the kid and say ITS WRONG what your mom/dad did! Nobody is allowed to hurt you, NOBODY! And to the parents: Please go for help!

That's the way we do if we are outside and recognice what we see so often.
