Chopin - Scherzo op. 39 - Philippe Entremont

Great and underrated: recordings by the young Philippe Entremont. In the two soundfiles I have uploaded he displays a great mixture of beautiful, clarion-like and yet warm sound and enthralling virtuosity. LP remastering. Original disc is an old French MMS Concert Hall disc. It can be seen on the picture.

Thank you AfroPoli! I have a very high regard for the first recording Mr. Entremont made of the Chopin 4 ballades too... he was touted as the most interesting pianist to come out out France since Cortot. There is no higher praise is there?
