  • Love this piece. West Texas A&M University Symphonic Band played it at CBDNA last year. Too bad there wasn't a bassoon part.

  • @TheNortherner29 Every composer has his/her own language, or at least recognisable dialect: Stravinsky's was very distinctive, typical of the time but also very forward looking; in many ways we are still catching up with him.

  • @TheNortherner29 I think I know what you mean. I listened to the 200 or so songs in the ultimate concert band playlist and there were a lot of funky songs like this.
