@TheNortherner29 Every composer has his/her own language, or at least recognisable dialect: Stravinsky's was very distinctive, typical of the time but also very forward looking; in many ways we are still catching up with him.

LA Pierce Wind Symphony is playing this Sunday, May 22, 2011. I"m doing the 3rd Cornet part. I love this recording, very helpful.

Love this piece. West Texas A&M University Symphonic Band played it at CBDNA last year. Too bad there wasn't a bassoon part.
