So VDDA/2 output is connected to Vin_N. VDDA/2 is not shorted to GND. it is just named Analog GND. The VR is actually varying itself from 0V to 2.048V. The VDDA/2 is used to compared the VR voltage to VDDA/2, that is how we get +/-1.024V on the multimeter.
I am having trouble understand why you would need the Vdda/2 in the first place. Second thing is why do you need to bring the vdda/2 out of the chip and then get shorted to ground assuming that you are trying to measrue voltage that is on the same development board?
hi, i was trying to do this sample project as show in your video. is it however the pin connection is not very clearly show in the video. i connected the VR to P0_2, P0_0 to P0_3. i got a result of negative 1.024. please advise on the pin configuration on the breadboard.
I am using PSOC microcontroller for the first time for the microcontroller class. I am still getting used to it. Could you please give me your contact email so I can get in touch with you.Thank you

Thanks.....I'm taking a class where we have to figure out this stuff on our own and do presentations. This definitely helped a lot.
