Keaton Huffman baseball workout 2/14/10. I am a middle infielder from Naperville, IL who graduates in 2010. All of my baseball videos are dated so you can see my skill development. I live to play baseball and I'm always working to get better. Play smart, play hard, play forever! If you are a coach and you're interested in seeing my Baseball Factory evaluations, you can email me at huffy21292@yahoo.com and I'll send you a link.

  • @huffy21292 wabash college? or wabash valley college?

  • noah i can tell you never have played high level baseball. Watch how pros turn two they catch the ball with the glove and hand facing each other. This is the quickest way. This kid is a rarity? There is 10 million of kids that play baseball at this level give me a break. His swing isn't bad but he does dip a little on some swings. Anyone with a good fastball is going to blow it by him.

  • What that guy was saying about your turning 2 is wrong, your fine, just catch and turn your glove in to transfer. Just gain more ground to first base with your footwork instead of falling off backwards, & keep your head over your chest & your fine.

And I know this seems silly, but this goes a long way. Just try and play with more confidence. Do the fundamentals right, but like when you make a throw to first base, don't watch it all the way to first, act as if you know it's a good throw, etc.

  • don't ever flip a ball with the back of your hand facing second base when turning two. It's inaccurate, incorrect, and hard for the shortstop to see it come out of your hand. If you do that flip, which you should only do if you field a grounder high of the ground, make sure your palm faces second base and release it with a stiff wrist.

  • @pb07pb you don't know what your talking about. This kid is a rarity, by that I mean he's one of the few kids on youtube, or below the professional level with an actual good swing. He has good angles, bat path, and lower body.

  • I think he has mediocre range and a solid arm, well for secondbase anyways, usually the thinnest position on a club. Anyways keep practicing live drives to all fields like James Loney, 1B for the LA Dodgers. He doesnt really hit for power but sizzles frozen ropes that could go straight through the arctic on a beeline.

  • you have the makings of a good ballplayer but you need to get smoother on ground balls and quicker on double plays also you drop your back shoulder a little bit on your swing. if you fix those things you have a good shot
