@958933 Why does everyone share the grossly incorrect opinion that a guard is absolutely vital to a bladed weapon? Also, while I do agree that that tip is ugly as sin, looks has nothing to do with how functional something is. Sharpen the false edge and you've got, in effect, a hybrid spear point/tanto style blade, which means excellent piercing, cutting, and hacking.
