  • 7.62x54r M1919? That's blasphemy.

  • @disturbedone5009

Strictly a matter of economics. I would much prefer to shoot it in its original chambering of 30 06 but it costs twice as much to do so, and the caliber swaps out to 54r in less than 1 minute without any major modifications to the gun. I shoot it in the following calibers. 30 06, 308 win., 7.62x54r. 762x39mm, 8mm mauser, 765 argentine, and 22LR. One of the Brownings finest characteristics is its ability to change calibers. they made these for many countries in many calibers

  • @oldsrocketscientist can you change out the caliber with the a4 model

  • @WolfPackAttack1911 the 1919a6 is simply a 1919a4 with a shorter barrel shroud, bipod, carry handle, buttstock, and special booster installed. The barrel is a standard 1919a4 barrel that was lightened to reduce some of the weight from the extra items added to it with the a6 kit. The booster was opened up to slow down the lighter barrel but i can use an A4 barrel in my gun which makes it run slower (which i like), but you dont want to run an A6 barrel with an A4 booster cause it recoils too much

  • how is it cooled?

  • @lucmitchify This is a 1919 Browning Machine Gun which is an evolution of the water cooled 1917 Browning Machine Gun. The 1919 was designed to be more portable than the water cooled gun which required much more support equipment. To answer the question though, it is simply air cooled, and it uses a very very thick heavy barrel which keeps it from heating up too fast. It can handle quite a bit of abuse

    Those PK belts?

  • Keep pressing 7 for infinite bullets

  • that looks like so much fun

  • Beautiful sound. Well worth the ammo :D

  • I always wondered the differences between the 1917 and 1919.. and then the difference3 between the 1919A4 and A6. I know that one is air cooled the other is water cooled.

  • @oldsrocketscientist

Yeah I know. I was joking. The best part of my Mosin Nagant is buying the 440 round spam cans for $90.
