From Jinci Si complex, we went to eat lunch at Kang Zhuang Eco-Gourmet Restaurant close by. A wedding was taking place inside this humungous and gorgeous restaurant. It was fun watching the festivities and eye-balling some of the unique food...for example, the fried turtles...and they do eat all parts excluding the shell.
Chinese wedding entertainment takes place at lunch. One day for the groom's family and friends, the next day, the bride's family and friends. This was one of the many weddings we'd see over the next 10 days. An auspicious time on the lunar calendar.
