Javed: The Failing State of Pakistan

Javed Chaudhry - host of Kal Tak program in Pakistan - describes the deep rot and decay in today's Pakistan. The country is a rapidly failing - if not already, a failed - state. Its leaders, whose ostensible job is to protect and serve the nation as well as develop and build the country, are the public's worst enemies and the country's biggest thieves.

Only a blind would object to Javed's description of the rot and decay in today's Pakistan. International think-tanks' ranking of being among the top-10 failed states in the world notwithstanding, there is no question that Pak suffers from serious political, administrative, institutional, economic, financial, and social failure. There is no sense of justice for the masses, the army is engaged in (re)conquest of its own territory, and the country's rulers are (rightly) regarded as thieves.

Religion fucks up everything it can. Pakistan is islamic country, therefore it is messed up. Useless superstition deserves just ridicule and laughter, its high time we end these bronze-age cults before they end us.

i am also indian and I will salute to my country first in any case

i respect for every religion.but don't you see that how far both of our country are poor

why dont we become friends and pave the road of prosperity. why waste our income and assets for fighting with each other.

if we keep fighting like this for lets say 50 year

we cannot become a developed countries

In Islam, hindu there is nowhere written that first we fight than think for prosperity
