@jpaurom Yes....the sun warms the air in the canyon, causing it to rise. When it does, the Condors leap into it and are carried upward. Notice how they almost never have to flap their wings.

It's not easy to get there, and they may not fly that day, depending on the weather, but if they fly.....it's an amazing experience.

Great video. I was lucky enough to trek the canyon last year and we saw around 25 of these beautiful birds, even seven in one go.

Glad you went there. It was almost a mystical experience for us. I realize now that I have better shots than those in this video. At one points, eight Condors are in the frame at the same time. A lot of people in previous visits on rainy days didn't see any.
