In 1999, the Electric Light Orchestra released 'Live at the BBC', a two disc album featuring various examples of ELO's music.

This particular piece is Kuiama, which was originally from their ELO 2 album.

The BBC Live version only has about a third of the original lyrics, making this mostly an orchestial piece, but I still added what lyrics there were to the video clip.

I hope you enjoy it.

  • This sound so beautiful. A pure masterpiece. Elo is the greatest band of all time in my book.

  • Words cannot express the truth GENIUS of The Electric Light Orchestra. pop, rock with a bit of classic thrown in. Whenever I'm feeling sad I put some ELO on and it's makes me feel better. A group to be appreciated.

  • Great version. Thanks so much for posting this!!!

  • Without the Moog, but just as great!

  • Great

  • @KeepinBuzzy A very basic musician? Interesting. Anyhow, I'd love to listen to this whole 2-CD set.

  • I was at the recording sessions for ELO 2 .. I was stunned at how Jeff was such a very basic musician

  • I believe this is the song that showed Jeff's genius. Roy was gone. 10538 touched on that genius, but this is the one that sold me on ELO many years ago. Where 10538 seemed rough at the edges at times, this is polished, complex, and smooth. I love this song.

  • Stellar performance. This was originally circulated on a bootleg known as "Rockaria Overture", I believe. Looks as though the official CD is about as hard to lay hands on as that was, but obviously worth the effort.

  • R.I.P Mike Edwards

  • Thank you so much...........pure genius...
