we catch ladyfish in Rudee inlet in Virginia, they are a blast, kinda small but using an ultra light, or a 4 weight flyrod makes them fun, They also jump like crazy, "the poor mans tarpon"

@wckonthefish20 No they're not. Skip jacks are basically a smaller version of a jack crevalle with yellow highlights and pearl white body with three sharp spines on their backs usually. They call them skip jacks because you can sometimes see them skip across the water chasing little glass minnows on the flats, or you can accidently catch them in a cast net. What this guy caught on this video is a lady fish and looks nothing like a skip jack.
